Russia’s agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor from August 10, 2016, prohibits reexport of quarantined products from Nigeria and Somalia to prevent import of agricultural products banned in Russia, the service said on Tuesday.
Thus, from August 10 deliveries from these countries are permitted only through the checkpoints at the Russian state border, accompanied by phytosanitary certificates of the Federal Republics of Somalia and Nigeria.
Moreover, Rosselkhoznadzor has upheld restrictions on import of regulated products only through the checkpoints at the Russian state border – fruit and vegetables from Afghanistan, Burkina Faso, Benin, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Uganda, Cote d’Ivoire, Central African Republic, as well as the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
