Lili the red-crowned crane’s life has been saved by modern hi-tech.
Now it can feed itself for the first time after it lost its upper beak. An animal hospital jointly worked with a research center and a hi-tech company to 3D-print a upper beak for Lili in south China’s Guangzhou recently.
After an hour’s surgery, Lili has again has its own beak.
