Russian Helicopters plans to close helicopter supply contracts with Chinese partners next year, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for after-sales services Igor Chechikov told TASS in an interview today.
“These have already been customers’ wishes recorded in appropriate requests and applications. We are discussing now supplies of Mi [Mil] and Ka [Kamov] brands helicopters with several Chinese customs and plan signing of specific contracts in 2017,” Chechikov said. The senior manager did not detail models.
The pool of various types of Russian helicopters in China is already significant, Chechikov added.
