150 years of the Moscow Conservatory


The Moscow Conservatory was founded in 1866 and it turns 150 years on September 13. It is a higher musical education institution in the city. Among its graduates are composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, conductor Vladimir Spivakov, pianist Sviatoslav Richter, conductor Mstislav Rostropovich and many other distinguished musicians.
